[OOC: Drop post]

Hey guys... this post is long overdue, I'm afraid. Part of me still doesn't want to drop this game, but I think that's because I've got three and a half years invested in it now? That's a very, very long time for me to be involved in any particular fandom, not to mention a particular fandom activity, which just goes to show how awesome this game has been. But it's time for me to go now.

I'd like to have some kind of excuse, like school or other RL business, but really, I've just lost interest in playing, finally. Happens to the best of us. Anyway, I love you all, and I'll miss playing with you! Feel free to bug me if you need NPCs, though, I'm always up for that. XD

On the off chance anyone wants to pick up from Alfons' or Evil!Al's journals, I will be weirded out but kind of flattered, so drop me an IM and I'll hand over the passwords. XD

Umm, Dar is the new mod, actually. She used to vice-mod remember? We also kind of don't need three mods for... five people. :D;;

Really, all I do as a mod is update stuff and okay things. That's pretty much it.

So, modly mods... speaking of having only five people, what've we been doing recently as far as getting new members? And should we be doing something more/different? We kind of... need more people. Which is always true. But more true now that we've lost two players and four characters, when we were already small.

I am in favor of revitalizing OMG preferably with more IC characters and fewer versions of the same character. I think recruiting won't be that hard because there are fewer characters to explain now. The only ones with uber backstory that I can think of are T!Ed and Ren, although Ed becoming Easy made it, uhh, easier.

I love that now we actually have an evil crew forming but only one or two people to fight against it, we could market that aspect. I'll talk to some peoples and see if anyone wants to join, but mostly after finals...

Yeah, I really don't know what to do as far as advertising goes other than the word of mouth route. Lauren's advertised numerous times on fm_alchemist and I think we maybe got one new person out of it. I think. The advertising thing is kind of discouraging and the only other site I use on a regular basis that has other RPers is full of scary weeabos that can't type.

Maybe if we had something bigger going on, it'd help. The homunculus thing is something I'd be interested in seeing happen, since there's more discontent between them and the humans. There was also something else that was supposed to happen for all of the characters, but I need to talk to Dar to see if that's still going to go on.

I just made a shoutout on riverside_hq, which is totally inappropriate, but it was in a thread on a post I'd made and was topical, so eh. We'll see if anyone sees it, and it's a small community, but we might get lucky.
