::The sky above Central darkens as clouds gather, then with a horrendous clap that sounds like thunder, the sky splits open, revealing a swirling purple vortex some 200 feet above the city. From the center of the portal falls two figures, who grab onto the end of a rope that falls with them. Long, thin black limbs can be seen reaching from the portal and trying to grab at the figures as they cling desperately for their lives while hanging in the sky::
