[identity profile] omgzmodz.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] omg_fma
I have two main topics I'd like to bring up for discussion, for these last few weeks of omg_fma.

1. My first concern in NPCs. As we all know, this game is winding to a close, which means we will cease trying to recruit new players. Many of the rules can be thrown out, bearing in mind that this is the end game. In that light, my lovely co-mod and I have decided to change the rules playing canon characters as NPCs. Essentially, if you want to play someone, you can. If you want someone played, ask us and we'll see what we can whip together. Of course, communication is essential for this to work. In that light, I have a few questions:

Are there any FMA (or other fandom, I suppose) characters you would love to see played by someone else?

And just as important:

Are there any FMA (and other fandom) characters you would love to play but have never dared to before?

2. Formatting. There comes a time in every roleplay's life when we have to discuss formatting. OMG has always been run in script format. You all know what it looks like: actions are marked in *asterisk* or :in colons: while the rest is dialogue.

There have been certain parties who have expressed interest in converting OMG to paragraph format, in these last few weeks. If this were to be done, we would need to have some discussion about how this would work, with journal entries, etc. However, it is certainly a doable option, if enough people are interested. So I wanted to get EVERYONE'S ( *coughcough i.e. respond to this please or I will bug you on AIM until you hate me!) OPINION on the matter, as soon as possible, please.

Thank you!

I've not really spent enough time RPing in paragraph format to offer a good opinion but I'm fine with keeping it how it is. I'm a little scared that paragraph formatting takes longer and the slower speed of forum RPs is my least favorite thing about it.

I'm with Fluff. Changing npc-playing rules is one thing, changing the format of the game is another. I would have great difficulty changing the writing style for my characters at the last minute... and, as he pointed it out, it would be slower... I have trouble churning out replies fast enough as it is. I vote against making a format change.
