Summary: Apocalypse, Part I. What starts out as a sort of nice day rapidly goes South. Earthquakes, violence, blood, angels, ghosts, and a hole in the sky.

Balthamos: *has given up on pretense and is flying over the city, in high alert, early as always*

Raziel: *also diligent, in his more relaxed way... just sorta sitting on a rooftop*

IC!Hawkeye: *waaaandering aimlessly*

Evil!Al ::one of those rare days he's actually out in public, happens to walk by Clara. ... and grins:: Well, well. Enjoyin' the weather?

OOC!Psiren: *smiles* I am, actually.

OOC!Roy: *wandering the streets of Central, not sure what to do with himself*

Adventure!Wrath: *walking by, becoming instantly horrified upon seeing Clara and hiding*

IC!Envy: *scarfing down handfuls of red stone, grinning like a maniac, ready to start some serious trouble*

OOC!Scar: *sees Roy and slinks out of the alley he was hiding in, calling out* Hey! Roy!

Evil!Al: Heh. Not like - ::turns, thinking he saw something move quickly out of the corner of his eye::

IC!Ed: *out on the street on the edge of the park, just looking up into the sky with a very serious expression on his face, getting really bad feelings for some reason*

OOC!Roy: *turns, hearing his name, and smiles* Mal! Hello! ... I'm surprised to see you out and about ...

OOC!Psiren: *cranes to look at what he's looking at, sees nothing* Hmmmm?

IC!Ran Fan: *Observing from the rooftop like a, well, like a ninja*

OOC!Scar: *guilty look, pulls off his sunglasses* Well you know I just- *shrugs* I can't hide out. Not every day.

BIG BOLD LETTERS: SMALL EARTHQUAKE, LASTS SEVERAL SECONDS.

Evil!Al: ::shrugs, waves it off with a smirk:: Who knows. Anyway, I was just thinkin' this place still isn't living up to expectations, you know? Bu- ::JARRED BY EARTHQUAKE WTF::

OOC!Roy: *about to answer when the earthquake hits; grabs onto a building* ... What was that?

IC!Ran Fan: *almost falls*

OOC!Scar: What the- *jumps out of the way as a streetlight comes crashing down*

Adventure!Wrath: *out in the open now, looking around, wtf*

IC!Ed: *eyes widen, EARTHQUAKE!!* Ohshi- *tries to grab onto something for support and falls back on his butt*

OOC!Psiren: *clings tightly to her park bench until it passes* ...Well that's never happened before.

OOC!Roy: *stares at the fallen streetlamp* Um. That's ... not good.

Balthamos: Oh, good. Finally. *starts his way towards what should be the center of town, ready to get this stupid job over with*

IC!Sheska: *yell from around the corner* Ahhhg! My books!

Raziel: *smiles to himself*

OOC!Scar: *wide-eyed* Yeah you're tellin' me!

Evil!Al: ::remains standing in a wide stance, thanks to balancing skillz:: ... Yeah, but still, that's nothing. Sounded like you guys were having way more fun here than you actually are.

IC!Envy: *why is that a runty little alchemist I spy there?*

Evil!Al ::checks the contents of his satchel, smirks, then looks over at Adventure!Wrath:: Well, look who it is. I remember you, you little freak.

IC!Sheska: *gathering up books and heading to where everyone else is, kind of stops upon seeing so many people she knows*

IC!Envy: *deliberates a moment on what form he should take and decides on Al; hurries over to Ed with a metallic creaking, saying in his best sissy nervous voice* What was that?!

IC!Hawkeye: *seeing Sheska* Oh, hello. *detached*

Adventure!Wrath: *seriously did not need an additional pain in the ass, not liking E!A at all*

IC!Ed: *looks over at armor!Al, brow furrowing* I have no idea. It obviously wasn't normal. *starts moving closer to everyone else*

OOC!Roy: *also spots Sheska and waves, not recognising Ghost!Riza from this distance*

OOC!Scar: *pushing his hood off his head, screw disguise he's with Roy he can be a little more daring*

OOC!Psiren: *smiles* Hello. *glances at E!Al, opens her mouth, shuts it again* ...I was going to say "be nice", but....

IC!Sheska: *heading over to Roy* There was an earthquake. Did you feel it? *dumb question*

IC!Envy: *following after him; smiling evilly and very glad that Al's face is not overly expressive - how should he kill the runt, now?*

OOC!Roy: Yes. It, um .. it knocked the lamppost over. *is King of Stating the Obvious* Are you all right?

Evil!Al ::snickers:: Pointless, yeah. Good work, took you long enough.

IC!Gluttony: *has been lurking in an alley near Mal, knocks over a trash can*

IC!Hawkeye: *looks over and sees Mustang; too muddled by this whole spectral projection thing to realize it's his double; wanders behind Sheska towards him*

OOC!Scar: *hears the crash and jumps* HOLY CRAP.

IC!Ed: *glances back at Al over his shoulder just to check that he's still there, comes up to Clara since she's most familiar* Everyone okay?

OOC!Roy: *hears the noise inteh alley and spins around* ... Who's there?

IC!Envy: *laughing really hard on the inside OH MORE PEOPLE~!*

IC!Sheska: *oblivious to ghosts behind her* Whoa, it really did. I'm fine though, thank you.

OOC!Psiren: *decides to ignore E!Al for now, responds to Ed* Yes, I think we're all fine.

IC!Ed: *nods, looking around at all the faces, familiar or not* Okay. Good.

IC!Gluttony: *hears Mal yell and jumps, running out of alley* Nice Mal Person ok?

IC!Envy: *still pretending to be Al, oh yes, got to milk it for all it's worth* Ahhh ... Ed? *gives him the introduce-us look*

IC!Ran Fan: *eyeing Envy in Al's form, sensing something off*

OOC!Scar: *clapping a hand over his heart* Oh Ishbala, it's just you Gluttony. You scared me. *tries for a smile*

OOC!Psiren: *blinks at suit of armor*

OOC!Roy: Oh, it's you, Gluttony. *smiles, quite relieved*

Evil!Al ::waves nonchalantly at Ed and "armor!Al":: Long time no see.

IC!Ed: *still oh so oblivious* Oh- Right. Al, this is Clara. Clara, Al.

IC!Hawkeye: *gently tugging on Roy's sleeve, which doesn't move it but makes his wrist rather cold*

IC!Gluttony: Scary you? D: *looks at Roy* Hi Nice Roy Person!

IC!Al: *OH MY GOD EARTHQUAKE where is his brother?!?; runs around looking for him and sees a group of people in the park, maybe over there...*

IC!Envy: *is an impatient bastard; forms his hand into a spike behind his back* Nice to meet you~

OOC!Roy: *frowns, looking down at his wrist and wondering why it's cold all of a sudden; jumps when he realises there's a ghost there, then looks up at recognises Ghost!Riza* Oh my - Lieutenant Hawkeye?!

IC!Ed: *sort of... waves awkwardly at people he knows. is this really the time for that? turns back to Clara* Yeah, he is.

IC!Ran Fan: *throws kunai down at Envy's arm*

IC!Envy: *eyetick* Mmm, but not in the way you think. *STABS HIM but gets hit at the same time and misses the heart, only getting him through the shoulder*

IC!Gluttony: *sort of notices Riza is there for the first time... ghosts don't have a smell*

OOC!Scar: *sort of scoots towards Sheska because oh weird it's a ghost*

IC!Sheska: *WTF WTF WTF!* GHOST! *panic panic panic before remembering ghosts have been here for a while*

IC!Ed: *is STABBED, eyes widening, dropping to his knees and clutching at the wound* F-FUCK...! Wha- What the...

IC!Ran Fan: *jumps down, pulling out kunai and rushing towards Envy*

IC!Hawkeye: Roy......

OOC!Psiren: *jumps and screams*

OOC!Roy: *trying really hard not to panic too, becuase he hasn't actually met a ghost of someone he knew before now* Um. Yes?

IC!Envy: *pulls his arm free and whirls to face Ran Fan, shifting back into his more workable form and snarling* You are ruining my fun!

IC!Gluttony: *blinks at Sheska, oh she's here too*

OOC!Scar: *waving a bit awkwardly* Hi, uh. I'm Mal. We met once?

Adventure!Wrath: *was about to say something, then jumps into action and draws his sword, eyeing Envy*

Evil!Al: ::eyes wide, backs up:: What the- ::oh look taking a bomb out of his satchel now, touching a thumb to the array drawn on its surface::

IC!Envy: *Gah attacked from both sides!*

IC!Ed: *ohmotherfuckingshitithuuuuuurts. trying to force the pain out of his conscious thoughts* Fuck...

IC!Ran Fan: *quick horizontal slashes while dashing* It's part of the job.

OOC!Psiren: *so much for not having a fear of death, jumps over the back of the bench and hides behind it*

IC!Hawkeye: Roy.... it's ending.... it's ending today.

IC!Envy: *is unconcerned, lets himself get sliced and tries to kick at the same time*

IC!Ed: Can't help it, I BEEN STABBED.

IC!Sheska: .... It? The world? *getting a bit more comfortable with ghosts, as in only freaking out a bit*

Evil!Al: ::backing away from you crazy motherfuckers and throwing that bomb in the general direction of Envy and Ed now kthx::

OOC!Roy: *doesn't need to ask what* ... T-today? But - that's ... oh no ...

IC!Hawkeye: *can't seem to hear Sheska, just focusing on Roy and flickering with the concentration of delivering her message* Apocalypse .... today ...

IC!Ed: *grits his teeth, turning a little and quickly transmuting a wall out of the ground to protect who he's sure are innocents*

Adventure!Wrath: *running at Envy, sees an opening and makes to cut him in half*

IC!Envy: *dodges but gets another nasty slash along his back; grits his teeth seeing Ed running away; then realizes it is WRATH attacking him* What the hell are you doing!?

IC!Ran Fan: *is kicked* Ah yes, homunculi heal. *crouching and readying shuriken*

OOC!Scar: Oh shit.

IC!Gluttony: *what's all the fuss about?*

Adventure!Wrath:*smiling now* What I should have done a long time ago. Prove that I am not like you! *pulls blade back and ready for Envy to attack*

OOC!Roy: *stares at Ghost!Riza in horror, really starting to panic now* But - it - *takes a deep breath and tries to get a hold of himself* Th-thank you. For - for warning us.

IC!Al: *spots his brother ducking behind a wall and runs for him, not noticing the blood right away* Nii-san~!

IC!Hawkeye: *nods with a wan smile, getting fainter and fainter* Had to.... It's you.

IC!Ed: *keeping his hand over the wound in some vain attempt to stop the bleeding, eyes squeezed shut*

IC!Envy: *glancing between one and the other; he's gotten out of worse before, and he just binged on red stone*

OOC!Roy: *watches her getting fainter and frowns slightly, not really quite understanding what she's saying but - since she appears to be disappearing - doesn't want to start asking questings in her last moments*

IC!Al: *notices the wound - and what is Psiren doing here? - and crouches down* Ed, what...?!

IC!Ran Fan: *flinging shuriken at Envy, rushing forward again*

OOC!Psiren: *frowns, going over to Ed and ripping off some of her skirt* Oh God, Ed... here, move your hand....

IC!Al: *just doesn't even know what to do* Ed ... Ed are you OK!?

IC!Envy: *ducks under it, flexible bastard, grinning like it's the end of the world*

IC!Sheska: *sighs* I really hope the Apocalypse is not today, I have reading to do. *it getting tired of this*

IC!Gluttony: *doesn't know wtf is going on... chews on some dead cat he found in the alley*

IC!Ed: *peeks one eye open, flinches a little when he sees Al but relaxes and lets Clara do her thing when he hears the ongoing battle. that must be still be Envy they're fighting* That- bastard...

Evil!Al: ::sneaks away since nobody seems to be paying him attention ... bwahaha::

Adventure!Wrath: *overhead jumping slice*

OOC!Psiren: *binds wound as tight as she can, lips pressed together grimly*

OOC!Roy: ... I don't think she would tell us that for nothing ...

OOC!Scar: What are we supposed to do? *helpless, terrified look*

IC!Sheska: *crossing her arms* It's nice to see her again but right now my job is to stop all this *indicating, the entire world* from going to crap.

IC!Ed: *winces, nods gratefully to Clara* What's hap- *looks up into the sky, HOLYSHIT* ... You've gotta be kidding me...

Evil!Al: ::staaaares from where he's gone halfway up a building already::

IC!Envy: *is really too busy dodging all these attacks; whirls and catches Wrath with a punch to the gut, leaving his back exposed to Ran Fan*

OOC!Roy: *really wishes he had an answer for Mal* ... I don't know. I - *stops short, hearing the tearing sound and looking up; whispers, very quietly* This can't be happening ...

OOC!Psiren: *looks up, eyes widening* Jesus, Lord Almighty....

Adventure!Wrath: *was over anxious, is knocked back several meters*

IC!Al: *trying to take over stopping the bleeding* Ed, what? *looks up too and gulps*

IC!Ran Fan: *double kunai slice to the spine, then distracted for a second by the sky*

OOC!Scar: *awful feeling of dread in his stomach* I've gotta find Clara.

IC!Envy: *dies; oh well, had to happen some time; slumps to the ground, healing quickly*

IC!Sheska: *shit* I think I'm too late...

OOC!Roy: *nods* All right. We'll go together. Gluttony, Sheska, are you coming?

IC!Ed: *just keeps staring at the sky, trying to swallow the lump in his throat* ...shit...

Evil!Al: ::on second thought, maybe closer to the ground is better... going back down that fire escape ladder now, yeah, and sticking close to the building, watching them from a distance::

IC!Ed: We- have to get out of here or- something... *starts trying to get to his feet, but OW, blood loss sucks...*

OOC!Scar: Stop this how? *looking around - which way should he look first; barely suppressing panic* Where is she Roy?

IC!Ran Fan: *looking back at Envy, not sure how to finish this, starts slicing him a bit more*

OOC!Roy: *to Sheska* To find Clara. It's as good a plan as any. *turns to Mal* I was sort of hoping you might know ...?

OOC!Psiren: Al, right? Can you carry him? I think he might need a hospital.

Darren: *falls through a dimensional rift into the middle of the street and bleeds everywhere* ...Ow.

Balthamos: *chilling below the fire escape waiting for the real fireworks; looks up as a mortal comes by*

IC!Ed: *tries to swat his hand away* We HAVE to move... Or else that- *looks back up at the sky* I don't even know what the hell that is....

Adventure!Wrath: *coming back up to Envy, looking down at him and finding this very amusing* Haha. Seems you've met your match Envy.

OOC!Roy: *looks at Gluttony, very grateful* ... Thank you. Lead the way.

OOC!Izumi: *comes up behind E!Al* Al!

IC!Envy: *sneers at Wrath* You're pathetic. Teaming up with humans. You think it matters?

Darren: *had nearly regained his footing, but promptly thrown off it again and into the trunk of a scraggly sidewalk tree* What the- *lots of swearing goes here and he sits down hard at the base of the tree grumpily*

OOC!Roy: *doesn't reply, becuase he suspects the answer is probably 'yes'*

IC!Sheska: *shaken, dropping her books again. after it's over* I wanted to stop all this. But it seems I'm too late.

IC!Gluttony: *freezes when earth shakes, wide-eyed, then goes back to tracking*

IC!Envy: *lashes out at Ran Fan this time, hoping to have more like, aiming a kick at her head*

IC!Ran Fan: *cursing the timely earthquake. Is kicked in the head. Falls back and masks flies off*

OOC!Scar: *shrugs, not even bother to ask how she could have done that* Well uh- *swallows* Guess that's too bad.

Balthamos: I'm an Angel of the Lord. I am here because it is God's command.

Balthamos: It's the apocalypse, young man. You'd best put that filthy mouth of yours to good use and start praying.

Darren: *having a debate with himself about the pros and cons of trying to get up and find some way to get out to Clara's mansion, but mental images of earthquakes and car-eating rifts in the ground keep interrupting*

IC!Envy: *to Wrath* Are you done lecturing me yet?
IC!Envy: *does a twist through the air, landing behind Ran Fan and grabbing her around the throat*

OOC!Psiren: *shakes her head* Nevermind. *to Al* I think the hospital's this way. *points*

IC!Ran Fan: *standing up again and pulling out kunai* A woman and a human wanna-be. How does that feel. *o shit, dodges at first but is eventually grabbed*

OOC!Psiren: *hears her name* ...MAL?!

IC!Ed: *shakes his head vigorously, starts pushing at Al to let him go* No- Not the hospital- Can't- No time-

Balthamos: *sees the wounded mortal (Darren) and lands next to him; trying to find Raz* Have you seen an angel somewhere around here?

Evil!Al: ::smacked with wing ow, stumbles:: Yeah, fuck you too, fairy. ::looks back at ghost!Izumi, realization dawning, then snickers, apparently unfazed by the whole ghost thing::
Evil!Al: Heh, it's like they say. Everyone who leaves here comes back eventually, huh?

OOC!Scar: *rushes towards the sound of the voice; sees the whole scene with Al and Ed and Clara; totally ditches Roy and co*

Adventure!Wrath: I'm just struck by some odd force inside that makes me think you'll understand at some level. *dashes forward* Oh no you don't.

OOC!Roy: *starts running in the direction of Clara's voice after Mal, ignoring the fight*

Darren: AAUGH! *nearly falls into the street again, wide-eyed* ...Uh... You, um. *swallows hard* ...What?

IC!Envy: *uses Ran Fan as a shield, cackling*

Balthamos: *as gently as he can manage* An angel? Someone like me, with wings on his back. *offers a hand, because he isn't always a jerk*

Adventure!Wrath: *oh shit cuts Ran Fan, it's not deep but still a dumb mistake*

IC!Envy: *glee*

OOC!Scar: *collapses onto the ground near his friends, rubbing the back of his hand across his scarred brow and trying his best to keep it together* Riza's ... ghost said... *catching his breath*

Darren: ...I know what angels are. Um. *looks nervously at the offered had* ...I didn't think I was hurt that badly. I'm not really ready to die yet, uh, is there any way I could maybe... argue about this?

IC!Sheska: *has actually forgotten about the books she's left behind* I can't believe this. Everything? Everything is going to end?

OOC!Izumi: *shakes her head* Still so rude. *crosses her arms* Apparently.

Balthamos: *half-smile* I'm sorry, son. It's the apocalypse. You aren't dying yet, but you will soon. What's your name?

OOC!Roy: *notices that Sheska isn't following, and really can't leave her right next to a massive fight; stops and turns* SHESKA! Come on!

IC!Sheska: *starts to follow while still freaking out*

OOC!Psiren: Whoa, Mal, hey, are you alright?

Evil!Al: ::smirk:: Too bad I dunno how to get rid of ghosts or I'd put you away for good. What'd you come back here for, you gonna haunt me or some shit?

Darren: .........................Oh well that's reassuring. *takes the hand finally and gets to his feet a little unsteadily; mm, anemia* I'm Darren. And this is complete crap, by the way. No offense.
